Former Tennessee football running back Dee Beckwith transfers to Kentucky
1 min readPrevious Tennessee running again Dee Beckwith has transferred to Kentucky.
The former Vol appeared Monday on the Wildcats’ roster, extra than five months after entering the portal Jan. 6. He has not announced the transfer.
The 6-foot-5, 227-pounder expended two seasons with the Vols but hardly ever settled into a continuous function.
Beckwith signed with UT as a a few-star athlete in the 2020 class. He played quarterback, managing back and broad receiver at Florence (Alabama) Superior Faculty.
But with the Vols, Beckwith bounced all over the lineup. He under no circumstances in shape at basic safety or linebacker on protection or tight conclude on offense. Most of his five online games performed have been invested on exclusive teams.
At running back, Beckwith had 4 carries for 27 yards in two seasons. He experienced a person rush attempt in 2021 even with accidents to many operating backs in advance of him on the depth chart.
